Mgr Design Engineering

This role is responsible for leading, directing, and controlling distribution design engineering activities for the 13kV overhead and underground electric distribution system, ensuring compliance with engineering standards for reliability and capacity projects. The manager must drive the development and implementation of engineering and design activities to meet safety, reliability, and performance goals while optimizing crew utilization and managing the department budget.
Responsibilities
- Drive and oversee the development and implementation of short and long-term internally generated distribution engineering, design, and reliability activities
- Provide central and focused leadership and management of distribution engineering/design activities across Exelon
- Manage the department budget
- Establish and monitor engineering and design process to meet Asset Management and Operations objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of distribution engineering practices
- Proven leadership ability in a high-performance culture
Benefits
- Annual salary range: $125,600 - $172,700
