Co-op-Design Engineering - Latham, NY-2026

The co-op will gain hands-on experience by conducting laboratory test activities and collaborating with design engineers, receiving instructions and providing feedback. Responsibilities also include comprehensively documenting design inputs/outputs and assisting vendors with prototype creation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and perform test activities within a laboratory environment
- Collaborate with design engineers by receiving instructions and offering constructive feedback
- Document design inputs and outputs comprehensively
- Assist and coordinate with vendors for prototype creation
- Analyze and address issues pertaining to mechanical design, providing effective solutions as needed
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas of study: Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, design engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Ability to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position
