Prinicpal E-Commerce Product Designer

The role requires achieving expert-level mastery in design craft, leveraging it to create innovative product visions based on user feedback, metrics, and testing. This position also involves strategically planning project needs with stakeholders and leading collaborative efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve expert-level mastery in design principles, visual aesthetics, and interaction design techniques
• Leverage design craft to create design artifacts and innovative product visions based on user feedback, metrics, and testing
• Strategically plan project needs with stakeholders and optimize workflows for timely delivery
• Lead collaborative efforts in a fast-paced environment
• Represent design in high-level discussions with executives, product leaders, and other stakeholders
• Champion the importance of user-centered design at the executive level, presenting research findings to executives to influence strategic decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
• 7+ years of experience in product design
• Prior work history in e-commerce
• Driven by user-centered and design thinking methodologies
• Experience building and launching features/products that encompass an end-to-end experience across a variety of platforms
• Demonstrated ability designing intuitive and meaningful mobile apps
• Clear and articulate written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
