
Lead UI Designer

The Lead UI Designer will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights, and create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups aligned with user needs and business goals. They will collaborate with product management and engineering to ensure feasibility and maintain user personas and journey maps to inform design strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights
- Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups that align with user needs and business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to ensure design feasibility and implementation
- Develop and maintain user personas and journey maps to inform design strategies
- Analyze user data and feedback to iterate on existing designs and enhance user satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design and research
- Present design concepts and findings to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the design process
- Leverage AI effectively for faster turnaround and iterative design methodology
Requirements
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar software
- Experience with using AI to build interactive prototypes is a big plus
- 10+ years of experience as a UI designer with a portfolio demonstrating your design process and outcomes
- Experience researching SaaS products with complex workflows and catering to multiple personas
- Breadth of knowledge about UX research, from methods to storytelling and expertise in quantitative and qualitative approaches
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Mobile first thinking with interoperable designs between mobile and web
- Experience with building interactive UI for Analytics with large multi-dimensional data sets
- Healthcare, Workforce management experience is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
