The designer will evolve and govern the ZILO design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products, while collaborating with Product Owners and Engineers to translate user needs into thoughtful design solutions. Key tasks include developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs, and driving innovative solutions for key user journeys.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the evolution and governance of the ZILO design system
- Design intuitive user experiences that simplify complex workflows
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure design solutions support product goals and technical feasibility
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
- Define and document interaction patterns, UI components, and design standards
- Design AI-enabled user experiences
- Conduct user research, concept testing, and usability testing
- Create personas, journey maps, and flows based on user insights and product data
- Drive innovative design solutions
- Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders and development teams
- Champion accessibility, consistency, and best practices across the product experience
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design
- Proven experience managing or contributing to a design system
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design and problem solving
- Proficiency in design and prototyping in Figma
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data-informed design decisions
- Strong understanding of interaction design, visual design, and accessibility standards
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design and productivity tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail with a passion for improving product usability and experience
