
The Product Designer will own design for Sylvera's carbon market product pillar, managing the process from initial discovery through to polished, shipped experiences, focusing heavily on data-dense interfaces like dashboards and geospatial maps. Additionally, they will support the marketing team with various design assets for reports, campaigns, and brand evolution.
Responsibilities
- Product Design: own product design for Sylvera's carbon market product pillar from 0-1 discovery and throwaway prototypes through to shipped, polished experiences
- Design data-dense interfaces: dashboards, pricing tools, portfolio views, comparison tables, monitoring pages, and geospatial maps
- Work directly with PMs and engineers to ship work that's both useful and crafted
- Participate in customer research alongside PMs, bringing design thinking to discovery and validation
- Marketing Design: support marketing team with reports, email banners, website assets, social graphics, and sales enablement materials
- Step up during major publications like the annual State of Carbon report, where marketing design demand spikes
- Contribute to brand evolution as the design function grows
Requirements
- 3+ years of product design experience covering both UX and UI
- Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally on data-heavy products (dashboards, analytics, trading platforms)
- Thinks about what data means and what action it should drive, not just how it looks on screen
- Strong in Figma and comfortable working within an established design system
- Can handle marketing design work to a professional standard when needed: reports, banners, social assets
- Uses AI tools in everyday design workflow
- Has strong visual craft - work looks polished and intentional, not just functional
- Cares deeply about the climate and ecosystems of the earth
- Is a self-starter who thrives in constantly evolving environments, ideally with early-stage experience
