UX Designer (Mobile)

The UX Designer will apply a mobile-first mindset to simplify health, wealth, and protection journeys on the my Sun Life app, creating best-in-class digital experiences across iOS and Android platforms. Responsibilities include developing concepts, storyboards, screen flows, and interactive prototypes, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate and refine design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Apply a mobile-first mindset to simplify health, wealth and protection journeys on my Sun Life app
• Create best-in-class digital experiences based on client, business and technical inputs
• Develop new concepts, storyboards, screen flows, and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with UX writers, UX designers, journey designers and researchers to refine design concepts
• Conduct concept and usability testing to iteratively validate and improve design solutions
• Analyze user data and research findings to inform and validate design decisions
• Actively collaborate as part of a cross-functional agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in user-centered digital design and user experience on mobile products
• University degree or certification in User Experience, or equivalent work experience
• UX portfolio demonstrating impactful customer experiences
• Knowledge of user research methods
• Proficiency with current design and collaboration tools
• Ability to work efficiently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
