
UX Designer

The UX Designer will conceptualize, design, test, launch, and refine new products and services using systems thinking to solve user needs, while advocating for human-centered design perspectives informed by business needs and technical feasibility. This role involves driving design delivery, ensuring consistency in usability and accessibility across product units, and working cross-functionally to execute strategy and projects.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualizing, designing, testing, launching, and refining new products and services through systems thinking
- Serving as a strong voice for Human Centered design, supported by a growing team of talented designers and leaders
- Contributing to the inclusive culture of the larger Digital team
- Advocating user-centered design perspectives for areas of focus that are informed by business needs and technical feasibility
- Providing consistency in approach, and integrity in usability and accessibility across design efforts with multiple products units
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Design, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Industrial and Human Factors Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in UX design or a related occupation
- 5 years of experience with digital and software design
- 4 years of experience with developing and implementing design patterns in the Automotive and Manufacturing fields
- 2 years of experience with translating customer insights from surveys, feedback, and research
- 1 year of experience with using Figma and Miro as primary design and prototyping tools
