Senior Product Designer (Advanced English)

The role involves actively participating in the delivery and design of technology projects, developing new digital products and services across discovery and delivery phases. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional agile teams to create various experience design deliverables and facilitating workshops to develop design strategies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with small, cross-functional agile trios (PM, Engineering, Design) to create a wide range of experience design deliverables
- Facilitate workshops, develop unique design strategies for products, and take part in making strategic decisions at the portfolio level
- Apply various research methods such as context analysis, moderated interviews, experiments, and user tests
- Set up inspiring design hypotheses for delivery teams that consist of both Thoughtworkers and clients
- Ensure that project scope, risks, and updates are regularly assessed and communicated
- Balance client and Thoughtworker expectations by clearly communicating experience design deliverables
- Extend expertise to teammates by supporting less-experienced designers when possible
- Advocate experience design expertise to the broader community outside of Thoughtworks, speaking at conferences, webinars, meetups, and more
Requirements
- Technical Skills: experience design with specialties in at least three additional areas such as user research, service design, digital product design, interface design, visual design, or other design-related disciplines
- Generalist product designer with end-to-end experience, including back-end and platform squad contexts
- Comfortable leading and advising research activities on experience design projects, employing different methods such as contextual inquiry, moderated interviews, experiments, user testing, etc.
- Strong product thinking, connecting user needs, business objectives, and success metrics to design decisions
- Experienced storyteller able to clearly present research methods and findings to stakeholders
- Fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish, with professional proficiency in English
