Design Engineering Manager

The primary function is leading Continuous Improvement Engineering (CIE) teams supporting Low Voltage Motor Control Center (LVMCC) and Enclosed Control (EC) product lines, overseeing engineering resources and contributing technically to maintenance and design initiatives. This role also involves collaborating cross-functionally, overseeing the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process, and managing automation systems while developing engineering talent.
Responsibilities
- Leading the Continuous Improvement Engineering teams
- Providing design engineering guidance and technical assistance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Application Engineering, Quality, and New Product Development
- Overseeing and improving the Engineering Change Order process
- Managing the productivity of the department and analyzing volume and accuracy
- Leveraging the Talent Hub process to communicate and manage required development plans and performance
- Managing multiple large projects across product lines to completion within deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 5+ years of combined experience in mechanical design, sheet metal design, 3D CAD modeling, and assembly or installation
- Ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship
