The primary objective is the design and enhancement of thoughtful products through an innovative approach to product development, focusing on integrating customer needs, usability, and manufacturing considerations. Responsibilities include owning mask design, executing design improvements, driving enhancement projects, ensuring production continuity, leading root cause analysis, and optimizing mask functionality.
Responsibilities
- Own Mask design, execute design improvements, and drive design enhancement projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Apply mask design knowledge on patients' interface design, pneumatic system, acoustics, material, plastic parts geometry & tolerancing and its manufacturing methods
- Lead root cause analysis and execute masks' functional optimization
- Work closely with other stakeholders to ensure production continuity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 8 years of related experience
- Manufacturing process awareness (mainly Plastic and Liquid Silicon Rubber Injection Moulding)
- 3D CAD software, beginner to intermediate proficiency
- Materials awareness (mainly polymers & LSR)
