Contract & Claim Manager - Design Engineering (w/m/d)

The Contract & Claim Manager will oversee infrastructure planning contracts, identifying and implementing potential for performance improvement from claim submission through to payment receipt. This role involves developing negotiation strategies, interpreting contracts, and enforcing supplementary claims with commercial and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential for improving results, from claim to cash receipt, and implement it
- Develop and implement claim strategies in cooperation with project managers
- Prepare and conduct claim negotiations, including stakeholder management
- Analyze negotiation results
- Preventive anti-claim management and contractual crisis management
Requirements
- Technical expertise and first experiences in project controlling of infrastructure projects
- Experience with infrastructure projects, preferably in the area of Deutsche Bahn or road construction authorities
- Knowledge of the German construction industry and first contact with the planning and construction of roads, bridges or tunnels
- Diplomatic skill and professional appearance
- Communication strength in cooperation with project teams
- Verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse and good English skills
- Reisebereitschaft, sofern es das Projekt / das Business verlangt
