Senior Product Designer - Labs

The role involves designing and shipping end-to-end features for the Labs experience, ranging from data-dense clinical interfaces to lightweight patient moments, while owning the design craft and setting a high bar for visual quality and interaction thinking. Responsibilities also include rapid prototyping using various tools, collaborating closely with Engineering from exploration through production, and executing user research to inform design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship Labs features end-to-end — from early concept through implementation and iteration
• Own the design craft in your area: strong visual quality, sharp interaction thinking, edge cases fully considered
• Set a high bar for visual design — hierarchy, information density, and polish that earns trust with the people who use it
• Prototype rapidly using whatever gets the idea across fastest — Figma, code, AI tools, or all three
• Collaborate tightly with Engineering from exploration through to production — not just handoff

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience
• Strong design opinions held loosely
• Ability to move fluidly between high-level strategy and pixel-perfect execution
• Genuinely care about the user experience
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in design
• Comfortable with code and willing to learn
