The Staff Product Designer will own end-to-end design for strategic, high-impact initiatives, navigating ambiguity through rapid prototyping and execution with exceptional craft from concept through iteration. They will also set the standard for design excellence, championing craft across visual, interaction, and product thinking to serve as a benchmark for the team.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for strategic, high-impact initiatives
- Set the standard for design excellence
- Prototype, prototype, prototype, using the latest tools to create compelling prototypes that validate designs through experiences that can be felt and used
- Partner with product and engineering to shape product direction and build strong cross-functional relationships
- Stay ahead of creative technology trends and incorporate cutting-edge patterns to keep Frame.io at the forefront of its category
- Mentor designers across the organization, providing thoughtful feedback and modeling best practices
Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience with a proven track record shipping high-quality digital products at companies known for design excellence
- Exceptional craft in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping
- Strategic product thinking with strong systems design skills
- Outstanding communication and storytelling skills
- Proven ability to build strong partnerships with product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers
