Staff Product Designer, Home Loans

The Staff Product Designer will drive new initiatives by setting a high standard for excellence and collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders to execute a strong product design standard. Responsibilities include using design thinking to establish vision, developing user-centered solutions, and collaborating across the entire product lifecycle from strategy to engineering specification.

Responsibilities

• Use a design thinking process toward establishing and executing vision for the team initiatives
• Develop user-centered design solutions based on research, member insights, and industry best practices
• Challenge the status quo, push innovation, and inspire people toward a unified outcome
• Collaborate closely with Research, Product Management, and Engineering partners to iterate and drive programs forward

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working in product design/UX roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to define product strategy
• A strong understanding of when and how to use metrics to inform design and measure success
• Experience in using design thinking tools like design sprints
