Design Systems, Product Designer

The role involves designing and evolving high-quality components, patterns, and foundations for the design system, including building scalable component libraries in Figma and working within a token-based environment. This designer will partner closely with engineers to ensure clean translation from design to React implementation and raise the overall quality bar for visual design and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Designing and evolving high quality components, patterns, and foundations for our design system
• Building scalable component libraries in Figma using strong auto layout, variants, properties, and responsive structure
• Working in a token based environment, helping define and apply primitives, semantic tokens, and component level tokens
• Partnering closely with engineers to ensure components translate cleanly from design to React implementation
• Contributing to multi theme system design across a complex platform

Requirements

• Visual design and craft: Strong visual design fundamentals, including typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, and composition
• Sharp attention to detail across component states, interaction patterns, and visual consistency
• Experience designing polished, production ready enterprise UI
• Strong understanding of accessibility, including color contrast, focus states, and WCAG standards
• Ability to balance visual quality with the constraints and structure of a system
