Intern - Graphic Designer
Axiata Digital Labs 🇱🇰 Colombo, Colombo District, Sri Lanka
The intern will assist in designing various digital visual assets for marketing campaigns, including social media graphics, banners, presentations, and email creatives. They will also support the marketing team by maintaining brand consistency and contributing creative concepts for ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing digital visual assets such as social media graphics, banners, presentations, infographics, and email creatives
- Support the development of visual content for digital marketing campaigns across social media, websites, and internal platforms
- Work closely with the marketing and design teams to execute tasks based on approved briefs and brand guidelines
- Support the marketing team in maintaining brand consistency across all visual materials
- Contribute creative ideas and design concepts for ongoing and upcoming campaigns
- Assist with basic video editing and simple animations, when required
- Support day-to-day creative tasks assigned by marketing or design leads
Requirements
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field
- Prior internship or academic project experience in design will be an advantage
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles
- Awareness of brand guidelines and visual consistency
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital content formats
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools is an added advantage
- Basic to intermediate skills in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, or similar
