The role involves setting the design vision and direction for product experiences, bringing concepts to life through high-fidelity visuals, motion, and various prototypes. Responsibilities also include defining and driving the end-to-end design strategy across all phases of the design cycle, from discovery through execution.

Responsibilities

  • Set design vision and direction for product experiences
  • Define and drive the end-to-end design strategy across all phases of the design cycle
  • Influence senior leadership and diverse stakeholders including research, product management, developers and design leaders
  • Thrive in deep ambiguity, framing problem spaces, generating divergent concepts, and identifying the most compelling ideas worth deeper exploration and organizational investment
  • Mentor and elevate the skills and output of other designers, raising the bar for craft, process, and strategic thinking across the team

Requirements

  • 10+ years of design experience
  • Available online portfolio
  • Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution
  • Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data
  • Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
