
Senior UX Designer, Digital Acceleration

The Senior UX Designer will define the user experience for Amazon's Digital products, leading efforts to improve the post-purchase experience by envisioning near and long-term customer journeys for discovery, purchase, and subscription management. Responsibilities include synthesizing consumer insights and business opportunities into scalable concepts, leading design activities like user testing, and creating artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
Responsibilities
- Bring a strong, customer-obsessed point of view
- Synthesize consumer insights, business opportunities, product analytics, and competitive intelligence into concepts that scale
- Lead design activities like brainstorming, user testing and iteration to turn concepts into tangible solutions
- Create design artifacts like user flows, wireframes, visual mocks, and prototypes to communicate your ideas
- Independently present work, socialize ideas, and manage stakeholder expectations
- Work alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the product development to ship results
- Work with the team to identify, track success metrics for design
Requirements
- 8+ years of design experience
- Knowledge of design tools such as Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, and Dreamweaver
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
