The role involves creating and maintaining library components primarily in Figma, establishing design standards and principles for the design system, and ensuring design quality across UI, illustration, and motion. This person will also support product designers and development teams in applying and building system components correctly.
Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining the library components and documentation website
- Establishing design standards and principles for scalability and consistency
- Supporting product designers and development teams
- Evaluating and improving usability and accessibility of components
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in Product teams as a Design System specialist
- Portfolio that shows design systems created or contributed to
- Experience designing on multiple platforms
- Figma power-user
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills
