The role involves creating and leading initiatives to elevate the member experience and improve how product teams build day-to-day by flexing interaction, visual, and prototyping skills. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining library components in Figma, establishing design standards, and supporting product teams in applying the system.
Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining library components and documentation website
- Establishing design standards and principles for scalability, efficiency, and consistency
- Working with and supporting product designers, development teams, and brand teams
- Evaluating and improving usability and accessibility of components
- Conducting user research and bringing new ideas to the table
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in Product teams as a Design System specialist
- Portfolio that shows design systems you have created or largely contributed to
- Experience designing on multiple platforms (Web, iOS, Android, etc.)
- Figma power-user
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills
- Keen eye for visual design/Brand craft
- Passionate about creating inclusive and accessible products
