The role involves developing 3rd-party submittal and production drawings for assigned Home Building Facilities, ensuring all plans comply with specifications, codes, and manufacturing needs using CAD. Responsibilities include creating all necessary construction drawings, coordinating with facilities, and managing project priorities based on the facility schedule.
Responsibilities
- Create Home Building Facilitiesâ production drawings required to construct all models
- Create all 3rd-party submittal drawings (floor plan, electrical, shear walls, plumbing, gas, HVAC)
- Be available during Home Building Facilitiesâ business hours to assist as needed
- Coordinate with Home Building Facilities and Product Design Team Leader
- Manage priorities and projects based on Home Building Facilitiesâ schedule
Requirements
- Technical college or trade school education with ongoing design development
- Strong working knowledge of CAD and related systems
- Basic understanding of housing construction processes and materials
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional
