
Video Editor and Graphic Designer

This role involves conceptualizing, developing, and executing creative ideas for digital, video, and print assets, splitting time equally between video editing/management and graphic design tasks. Key duties include editing video content, managing the Vimeo platform, creating modern digital designs, and ensuring adherence to brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main video editing and filming touch point, and video consult at ACOG for internal projects and when working with outside vendors
- Edit video content combining voice overs, testimonial footage, b-roll, static images, graphics, animations, transitions, lower thirds, music, etc. as needed
- Clean up rough audio from content filmed at ACOG’s meetings or filmed by ACOG members
- Format video to the necessary specs for various uses (web, advertising, social, etc.)
- Create and produce modern, engaging graphic and digital design that work across various platforms including digital ads, social media, email, websites, and print when needed
Requirements
- Proficient using Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere Pro and/or After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Proficient using Microsoft Office including Word and PowerPoint
- Comfortable in a PC environment
- Demonstrated understanding of digital design principles
- Able to collect/understand requirements and explain design choices
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
