The Graphic Designer will create visual communication products for a government agency, focusing on scientific outreach, public engagement, media, and digital initiatives. This includes designing print and digital materials such as infographics, presentations, and animations while adhering to branding and accessibility standards.
Responsibilities
- Design graphic layouts for print and digital communications products
- Create infographics, presentations, and outreach materials
- Produce graphics for conferences, media events, and exhibits
- Develop animations and multimedia visual assets
- Ensure all materials meet NSF branding guidelines and Section 508 accessibility standards
- Collaborate with researchers and communications teams to translate complex science topics into clear visuals
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Digital Media, or related field
- Minimum 5â7 years of professional graphic design experience
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud and producing digital and print materials
