Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will play an influential role in designing workflows for educators, students, and support staff, partnering closely with product managers and developers to ensure high-quality, accessible solutions. Responsibilities include advocating for accessibility best practices, leading customer research, measuring product success, and building prototypes for user testing.

Responsibilities

• Play an influential role in designing workflows for educators, students, and people that support teaching and learning
• Partner closely with product managers and developers to solve complex problems and ensure the highest quality solutions
• Be an advocate for A11y best practices
• Work with a rapid, iterative mindset, being open and flexible to changes based on user feedback
• Initiate and lead research activities with our customers and users
• Measure the success of products after release
• Build prototypes for user testing
• Use and contribute to a design system to create products with consistent interactions and a shared visual language
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure the highest quality designs and functionality

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience designing for large scale digital products
• A portfolio representing strong design work (visual and UX) on complex digital products
• Self-motivated with a passion for design
• Strong problem solving skills
• Highly self-motivated, with deep experience leveraging Design Systems
• Deep experience and knowledge of designing for Accessibility compliance
• Strong storytelling and communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong work ethic, sense of accountability and ownership
• Strong attention to detail and a systematic thinker
• Great team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
