Senior Graphic Designer
Funday Remote (🇨🇦 Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada)
The Senior Graphic Designer will develop creative concepts and design solutions aligned with client brands, collaborating with art directors and copywriters to create visual assets for various platforms. Responsibilities include making attention-grabbing graphics, staying current with design trends, managing multiple projects, and refining designs based on feedback.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts and design solutions that align with our clients' brands
- Collaborate with an art director and copywriter to translate ideas into visual assets or storyboards for various digital, print, and social media platforms
- Make graphics and layouts that grab attention and make complex stuff easy to understand
- Keep an eye on what’s trending in design so we are always ahead of the game
- Juggle a few projects at once and make sure they're all top-notch and on time
- Listen to feedback from everyone involved and tweak designs until they're spot-on for what we need
Requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating conceptual skills that result in innovative and inspiring digital, social, print, and other creative solutions
- Work that demonstrates strong craft in art direction and design
- 3+ years of work experience as a graphic designer
- Must have experience in a creative agency environment - digital agency an asset
- Curiosity and a passion for digital media and the latest trends in tech
- Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks
- The ability to collaborate, take constructive criticism, and seek out and act on team feedback
- A strong desire to make work that works – sells products, makes clients swoon, and hopefully wins some metal
- Marketing sense and an interest in helping to develop campaigns that can work across channels
- You know the tools – proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Knowledge in After Effects, Figma is a plus
