Graphic Designer

The Bid Designer will collaborate with bid managers and creative designers to produce visually engaging designs for proposals, presentations, and sales collateral, ensuring alignment with brand identity. Key tasks include finalizing print-ready artwork, developing visual elements for complex information, and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Design visually engaging and brand-aligned bid proposals, RFP responses, presentations and sales collaterals
- Adjust layouts and resize artworks to align with Tender/RFP specifications when required
- Prepare and finalise print-ready artwork files using tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Develop infographics, charts and visual storying design elements to simplify the presentation complex information
- Build and refine documents in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word and Powerpoint
- Collaborate with In-house Creative Designers, working with Bid Managers to conceptualise layouts and improve readability
- Maintain design library across all bid materials to ensure they adhere to currency of information
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Production of final art (Print and digital)
- Be an advocate for design best practices
- Facilitate feedback with a positive attitude from different teams while ensuring relevant feedback is captured, properly validated, and implemented
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finished Artist, ideally in a bid, proposal or corporate environment
- Experience in producing long-form documents (e.g. Response to Proposals, Annual Reports, Marketing White Paper)
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office suite of products
- A keen eye for detail, layout and typography
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, visually engaging content
- Experience in insurance, financial services or professional services (desirable)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in graphic design and finished artwork
- Tertiary qualified in Graphic Design
