Lead UX Designer

This role is responsible for building, executing, and measuring best-in-class user experience across the organization's website, mobile app, and tablet, focusing heavily on ecommerce functionality. Key tasks include designing and conducting usability tests, performing field research with end-users, and driving the execution of the user experience feature roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Designs and conducts usability tests using data-driven methods, analyzing data and communicating findings back to the team
• Conducts on-site and field research with end-users to facilitate design and development of web-based and similar software products
• Speaks with end customers and team members in other departments on how to enhance the user experience roadmap
• Documents necessary roadmap, execution, measurement, and interviews
• Conducts competitor analyses and ties optimal offerings to roadmap
• Executes user experience feature roadmap by working with product development team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 5+ years of business to business and eCommerce experience
• 3+ years of experience in user experience design with at least one year acting in a lead role
• Experience in FullStory, Figma, Sketch, JIRA, Zeplin, Slack, and other user experience tools
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to explain design frameworks and defend the user experience strategies
