UX Designer

The role involves applying research methodologies to understand insights that inform design, carrying products through the design thinking process to produce viable deliverables, and collaborating with engineering teams to identify solutions. Responsibilities also include creating prototypes at various fidelities and contributing to the maintenance of the digital design system.
Responsibilities
- Apply research methodologies and conduct UX research to understand insights and inform design
- Carry a product through the entire double diamonds of design thinking to produce viable deliverables
- Apply techniques to conduct and synthesize research using various tools and techniques
- Collaborate with multiple engineering teams and help identify opportunities and solutions for delivery
- Create prototypes at various fidelity using tools like Figma, HTML/CSS/JS, etc.
- Strong UI design skills to help build and maintain ASX's digital design system
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in scoping and planning design projects
- Usability testing
- Conducting ideation for co-design
- Assessing feasibility, desirability, and viability of ideas
- Iterative design and sprint planning
- Proficiency using various industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Storybook)
- Proven experience in successfully managing projects and multiple stakeholder groups
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience in developing B2B products, SaaS, and marketing websites
- Experience with design systems, working with other designers and engineers
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
