The Senior UX Designer will transform complex workflows into clear, accessible, and engaging user experiences across the product ecosystem by partnering with product managers and engineers. Responsibilities include driving user research, creating high-fidelity designs and prototypes using Figma, and contributing to the design system's growth.
Responsibilities
- Design and product collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs, business goals, and product requirements
- User Research and Validation: Help identify and validate meaningful problems to solve through research and discovery
- Design Systems and Craft: Contribute to the growth and stewardship of Daxko’s design system
- Team Collaboration and Mentorship: Mentor designers earlier in their careers and contribute to design critiques and knowledge sharing
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Explore emerging design tools and workflows
- Mobile Experience: Design for native mobile platforms, considering platform conventions, gestures, and mobile-specific constraints
Requirements
- Core Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency with Figma
- Deep understanding of interaction design, usability, and user-centered design practices
- Ability to design with accessibility and localization in mind
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities effectively
- 4+ years of experience in UX design or a related role
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
