Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing weekly print and digital circulars and support materials, contributing to projects aimed at capturing customer attention through various POS materials, outdoor, and web design. This role involves conceptualizing visuals, creating layouts using design software, and ensuring the timely and accurate production of newspaper ads and insert pages based on sales programs and strategic themes.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements
• Creating images and layouts by hand or using design software
• Testing graphics across various media
• Working independently to analyze creative briefs and determine the most effective way to convey the desired message through print media
• Developing weekly newspaper ads and insert pages in a timely manner
• Completing store visits to see a day in the life and to determine the effectiveness of in-store signage
• Assisting with weekly sign and tag production
• Working closely with Store Support teams to gather information and clarify details to accurately produce desired results
• Working with third party vendors to ensure print specs are accurate and deadlines are met

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Media, Communications, Business Administration or Graphic or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver's license for business travel
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes
