Senior UI Designer - Design Systems (f/m/x)

The role involves leading the creation, evolution, and governance of the company's mobile Design System, ensuring visual consistency and scalability across B2C mobile apps and B2B products. This includes owning the component library, defining token-first architecture for theming, driving adoption, and collaborating closely with engineers for integration.
Responsibilities
- Design system ownership: Own and scale the mobile Design System for a playful, high-craft B2C product
- Scalable architecture: Define a scalable token-first system enabling theming across multi-brand apps
- Visual assets: Create illustrations, icons, and other graphical assets to support the Design System
- Adoption & governance: Drive adoption, contribution workflows, versioning, deprecation, and quality gates for consistent use
- Design-engineering collaboration: Partner with engineers to integrate the Design System into the codebase and align design with implementation
- Documentation & consistency: Create and maintain a single source of truth for designers and engineers to implement the system consistently
- UI design: Design visually engaging and highly polished interfaces for the B2C mobile app
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI or Product Design, with a strong focus on design systems
- Proven experience with white-label and scalable theming systems
- System strategy: Deep understanding of Design System challenges, including adoption and governance
- Industry background: Experience in marketing, gaming, or other B2C-heavy industries is a plus
- Portfolio showcasing Design System case studies
