Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will define design requirements for high-impact projects, facilitate problem-solving sessions, and oversee the design process from concept through to engineering implementation. Responsibilities also include designing user interfaces across products, conducting usability studies, and providing guidance to junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Define and document design requirements for high-impact projects, facilitate problem solving sessions with stakeholders, iterate and deliver the final design to engineering
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear design goals and oversee the design process from concept to execution
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure that designs are feasible, scalable, and implemented with high fidelity
• Design user interfaces across Amartha products, building prototypes for user testing and iterating based on feedback
• Conduct usability studies to test new concepts and refine existing products, ensuring they meet usability, durability, and aesthetic standards
• Provide guidance to junior designers to uphold high standards in design, UI/UX, and visual quality

Requirements

• Keen eye for aesthetics, color theory, and design detail with the ability to deliver polished, high-quality work
• Ability to articulate ideas, designs, and rationale clearly to stakeholders, promoting collaboration and alignment
• Strong team player capable of working cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders
• Skilled in user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual and interaction design, and usability testing
• Knowledge of design systems, UI patterns, and creative solutions to technical constraints
• Experience designing for desktop, Android, and iOS platforms
• Comfortable working in Figma, or similar collaborative design tools
