Sr. Product Designer

The role involves developing complex CAD models and production-ready drawings using Creo and PDM systems, taking designs from concept through release while applying best practices in surfacing and tolerancing. Responsibilities also include managing design data, conducting reviews, generating accurate BOMs, and supporting prototype builds.
Responsibilities
- Executing advanced 3D Modeling using Creo and/or Catia
- Utilizing best practices in surfacing, molded part design, and design for assembly
- Using Windchill PDM system to properly manage design data
- Creating and delivering concepts, designs, layouts, illustrations, and detailed drawings
- Conducting component and assembly reviews, including tolerance studies
- Generating and verifying accurate BOMs, engineering changes, and GD&T
- Managing multiple concurrent projects and setting priorities
- Supporting prototype procurement, engineering/sample builds, and hands-on evaluations
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design
- Proficiency in Creo and PDM systems
- Exposure to Catia
- Comfortable taking designs from concept through detailed, production-ready release
- Two-year technical degree or bachelor's degree from an accredited technical institution
- Mechanical design focus preferred
