Graphic Designer
Vmd Corp Remote (🇺🇸 Alexandria, Virginia, United States of America)
This role requires applying strong layout, publication, and graphics design skills using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite to create visual content for various formats. The designer will also be expected to provide technical or artistic advice and create wireframe mockups for external sites.
Responsibilities
- Creating wireframe mockups of new content for external sites
- Providing technical and/or artistic advice to staff about visual information
- Working directly with clients, especially agency leadership
- Creating dynamic/interactive maps from a data source using Tableau
- Developing video production, web content, and social media assets
- Designing publications, reports, presentations, campaign materials, social media assets, and environmental graphics
- Collaborating with internal teams to shape strategic visual communications
- Thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Requirements
- 5 – 7+ years of Graphic Design experience with evidence of some formal training in the field
- Strong layout publication and graphics design skills
- Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint experience
- Experience in digital asset management systems, Lightform Creator, Aquia Widen Hub, Brightcove
- Experience with Tableau, video production, web content, and social media
- Knowledge of both traditional and digital formats (including 3-D)
- Confident in the ability to provide technical and/or artistic advice to staff about visual information
- Experienced creating wireframe mockups of new content for external sites
- Demonstrates flexibility and ability to pivot creative direction with ease
- Ability to work directly with clients, especially agency leadership
