UI Designer - Music Creation Apps

The UI Designer will craft and develop innovative features for Music Creation applications like Logic Pro, MainStage, and GarageBand by collaborating with cross-functional partners on thoughtful interaction and nuanced visual design. This involves designing elegant, workflow-driven user interfaces for complex applications that meet Apple's high standards for design and usability.
Responsibilities
- Design elegant user interfaces for music creation applications that are workflow-driven, deep, and complex
- Work alongside partners in design, software engineering, sound design, product management, and other teams across Apple to craft and develop innovative features
- Produce comprehensive, precise deliverables under tight deadlines while balancing input from cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements
- 8+ years of work experience with a focus on UI design across a variety of platforms like iOS, macOS, web, and others
- Degree in UX/UI design, visual design, or equivalent
- Experience in shipping digital products from start to finish, including documentation and development process
- Ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high-fidelity comps, and presentations
- Highly skilled and fast in any tools needed to visualize ideas and deliver work
- Enthusiasm and history working in an iterative design process, motivated by group critique
