Responsibilities span end-to-end design, from concept and discovery through to pixel-perfect UI, collaborating closely with the founder and engineer.
Responsibilities
- Designing the core interface of the product: 3-4 core screens with deep, dynamic, system-level complexity
- Inventing and refining interaction paradigms for human–agent coordination
- Working end-to-end from concept to pixel-perfect UI: discovery, flows, systems, and rapid prototyping in Figma and, where useful, in code with agents
- Driving Phase 1 design for the single-user MVP through to a shippable prototype, then extending to multi-user/team workflows
- Collaborating tightly with the founder and iOS engineer: pairing, brainstorming, and iterating in real time
Requirements
- Strong consumer product background with shipped, public products in the last 1-2 years
- Portfolio that includes personal or side projects you led end-to-end as proof of ownership and independence
- Systems thinking: you can design complex, non-linear flows and reason about underlying systems and constraints
- Technical mindset: comfortable with technical concepts, agents, and dynamic UIs
- Pixel-perfect execution: strong typography, layout, motion, and polish
- Mobile design experience (iOS); comfortable with mobile-first patterns that scale to web and desktop
- Uses AI tools almost daily for work and fully understands their value for design and prototyping
