The role involves leading content design for Gemini App features, partnering with cross-functional teams to define and execute product strategies, and translating complex user insights into actionable design solutions. Responsibilities also include championing user-centered design, evolving UX writing vision for multi-modal interaction, and coordinating translations and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Bring clarity to ambiguous product problems and shape them into innovative experiences that drive feature engagement
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute product strategies
- Translate complex user insights into actionable design solutions that deliver measurable value to users
- Elevate UX writing craft and champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle
- Evolve and execute on the vision for UX writing in a multi-modal world
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of experience on user-focused product writing including work in hardware, software, digital agency, or other relevant product area
- Experience in shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects
- A portfolio of UX-focused writing samples and style guidelines
