Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will play an influential role in designing workflows for educators, students, and support staff, while partnering closely with product managers and developers to solve complex problems and ensure high-quality, accessible solutions. Responsibilities also include advocating for accessibility, leading customer research, measuring product success post-release, and building prototypes for user testing.
Responsibilities
- Play an influential role in designing workflows that support teaching and learning
- Partner closely with product managers and developers to solve complex problems
- Be an advocate for A11y best practices
- Work with a rapid, iterative mindset, being open and flexible to changes based on user feedback
- Initiate and lead research activities with customers and users
- Measure the success of products after release
- Build prototypes for user testing
- Use and contribute to a design system to create products with consistent interactions and a shared visual language
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing for large-scale digital products
- A portfolio representing strong design work on complex digital products
- Self-motivated with a passion for design
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly self-motivated, with deep experience leveraging Design Systems
- Deep experience and knowledge of designing for Accessibility compliance
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong work ethic, sense of accountability and ownership
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic thinker
