This role involves shaping the end-to-end digital product experience by conducting user research, creating prototypes, establishing design systems, and collaborating with product management and engineering. The designer will translate user needs and business goals into functional, intuitive, and scalable designs.
Responsibilities
- User Research & Discovery
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability studies
- Create personas, journey maps, and user flows to guide design decisions
- Analyze product usage data to inform iterations
- Wireframing & Prototyping
- Translate insights into low-fidelity sketches and high-fidelity prototypes
- Iterate quickly, testing designs with stakeholders and users before development
- UI & Interaction Design
- Deliver pixel-perfect designs for web and mobile interfaces
- Define interaction patterns, animations, and micro-interactions that enhance usability
- Ensure consistency across platforms by maintaining component libraries and style guides
- Design Systems
- Build and maintain scalable design systems
- Ensure all teams adopt and adhere to system standards
- Accessibility & Usability
- Incorporate WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards into all designs
- Test for usability across devices, screen sizes, and assistive technologies
- Collaboration & Handoff
- Partner with product managers to define scope and priorities
- Work with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Provide ongoing support during development to refine edge cases
- Iteration & Testing
- Gather user feedback after launches and measure product performance
- Run A/B tests on UI variations to validate improvements
- Continuously refine workflows to improve user outcomes
Requirements
- 2+ years professional product design experience
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive layouts
- Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and accessibility standards
