The role involves designing diverse internal services, including cross-team interaction tools and a no-code/low-code Funnel Builder, alongside developing and scaling the company's Design System as a foundational tool for all web products. Key challenges include working with complex interfaces, ensuring system-wide design consistency, managing the full design cycle from research to development support, and justifying decisions with data.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing internal services, Funnel Builder, and Design System
- Working with complex interfaces, designing tools where users spend most of their workday
- Developing and maintaining the design system, creating scalable components based on Atomic Design
- Full cycle design: conducting research, testing, and iterating on design solutions
- Data and research: conducting interviews, testing, and working with metrics to inform design decisions
- Technical synchronization: communicating with developers to ensure design is properly implemented
Requirements
- Figma Advanced: proficiency in Auto Layouts, components, Properties, Variables, and complex prototyping
- System Thinker: ability to see the product as a holistic system and understand how changes in one part affect the entire interface
- Product Mindset: ability to distinguish between 'beautiful' and 'effective for business', and willingness to iterate on design based on feedback
- Critical thinking: ability to ask questions and test hypotheses
- Proactive: ability to identify weaknesses in the interface and propose improvements before receiving a task
