Senior Staff Product Designer

The Senior Staff Product Designer will lead by demonstrating through high-fidelity prototypes, functional flows, and code when necessary, bridging vision and feasibility while building scalable, reusable design systems. They will also be responsible for making AI useful in practical ways for faster exploration and tighter workflows, and influencing direction across the company.

Responsibilities

• Prototype like it matters, leading by showing, not telling
• Build systems that scale, spotting patterns before they fragment, and creating reusable frameworks and abstractions
• Make AI useful, not gimmicky, helping the org use AI in practical ways
• Set the standard for what "good" looks like, influencing across the company, and partnering with execs and VPs on direction and experimentation
• Raise the bar, mentoring at a mastery level, and shaping rituals, playbooks, and how we critique work so design quality consistently goes up

Requirements

• Leader scope and judgment
• Strong across user centricity, craft, vision, communication, and leadership as an IC
• Serious craft, with a portfolio showing excellent interaction + visual design
• Technical depth, with the ability to prototype for real, build for scale, and sweat performance and details
• Fluent with AI-assisted design
• Good in the undefined, with the ability to take a vague goal and turn it into a concrete, high-quality product direction with minimal hand-holding
• Strong communicator, with clear, strong storytelling, and the ability to bring people along without turning it into theatre
