Graphic Designer

The primary function involves creating visual text and imagery concepts using software or by hand to communicate ideas that inspire or captivate consumers, developing layouts for various media like websites, packaging, and reports. Key tasks include planning concepts, illustrating designs, communicating with the Creative Director, and handling the entire graphics creation process from defining requirements to final design approval.
Responsibilities
- Plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials
- Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval
- Communicate with Creative Director about layout and design
- Handle the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field
- 2-3 years of proven graphic designing experience
- Experience as a graphic designer, demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
