UX Designer, YouTube Live, TV Features

The designer will lead the definition of new features for viewers watching YouTube Livestreams on TV, including designing progressive AI-driven live experiences while prioritizing safety and transparency. Responsibilities also involve collaborating cross-functionally to build a user-centered product vision and driving product innovation through ideation and user testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition of new features for viewers watching Livestreams on TV
- Stay up-to-date with the livestreaming ecosystem of apps, third party plug-ins and common capabilities used by creators
- Define and design progressive AI-driven live experiences that integrate thoughtful applications of GenAI while prioritizing safety and transparency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Manager and Engineering partners to build a user-centered product vision for AI assisted viewer and creator experiences
- Drive product innovation through ideation, concept development and user testing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design
- Experience with visual design in product or UX design environments
- Experience designing consumer-facing products
- Experience designing for TV (Living Room) devices or multi-device environments
