The role involves leading Discovery processes through research to understand user financial barriers and designing complex financial journeys, focusing on reducing friction and increasing conversion. Responsibilities also include facilitating workshops, creating hybrid visual/conversational flows, developing clear data visualizations, and evolving the Design System.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery processes, conducting research to deeply understand financial barriers and user needs
- Design complex financial journeys, focusing on reducing friction and increasing conversion
- Facilitate workshops and dynamics with bank and financial stakeholders to align vision and define solutions
- Create hybrid flows (visual and conversational) for end-to-end experiences, applying UX Design best practices and AI Generative principles
- Develop interfaces that translate complex financial data into clear and actionable visualizations
- Maintain and evolve the Design System, ensuring visual consistency and scalability for multiple financial products
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical viability, especially in integrations with legacy banking systems
- Define and track product success metrics to propose continuous improvements
- Create high-fidelity prototypes for stakeholder validation, simulating real transaction experiences
Requirements
- Advanced domain of design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD)
- Solid experience with Design Systems and scalable component libraries
- In-depth knowledge of Information Architecture and Usability, focusing on simplifying complex processes
- Experience conducting user research and usability tests focused on confidence and clarity of information
- Ability to work with product metrics and data analysis to inform decisions
- Experience with agile methodologies and multidisciplinary squads
- Communication and client-facing skills for defending design proposals and negotiating with executive stakeholders
- Time management and prioritization in a dynamic environment
