Principal Product Designer - Unified Global Experience Ecosystem

This role involves leading the design of a unified global experience platform, including the application shell, navigation, and cross-application UX standards to ensure coherence across mission-critical applications. The Principal Designer will translate enterprise platform strategy into durable user experience standards and define patterns for other product teams to build within.
Responsibilities
- Own the design of the global application shell, navigation system, and way-finding experience
- Define how users discover, enter, and move across applications
- Establish global navigation principles and interaction standards
- Design durable patterns that prevent fragmentation while preserving team autonomy
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Product Design
- Experience designing enterprise portals or platform shells
- Strong expertise in information architecture and navigation design
- Experience defining and governing design systems or global UX standards
- Ability to influence multiple product teams without direct authority
