Product Designer (UI/UX)

The Product Designer will be responsible for designing user-centered solutions for autonomous surface vessels and related systems, collaborating with engineering, operations, and DoD stakeholders. This includes owning all aspects of design execution from discovery through implementation while contributing to product and design strategy.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the overall direction and decision-making for product and design strategy
- Own all aspects of design execution from discovery, ideation, prototyping, testing, and implementation
- Use storytelling to align and bring stakeholders along in your design process
- Play an influential role in shaping the end-to-end experiences for critical operator workflows
- Maintain a high bar for craft-driving novel experiences at the edge
- Balance short-term tactical bets while making meaningful progress toward long-term strategic pursuits
- Help to shape our ways of working as a centralized product design function operating in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- 6+ years of industry experience
- High attention to detail and mastery of visual & interaction design craft
- Online portfolio demonstrating multimodal experiences
- Ability to clearly articulate the why, process, and impact of your work
