
Principal Product Designer (CDI)

This role involves independently driving multiple complex projects, setting team goals and direction, and solving difficult design problems while elevating the work of peers. Key responsibilities include shaping strategy and design vision for the advertising platform, focusing on campaign planning, creative review, and interactive ad formats.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead and deliver projects of large and/or ambiguous scope
- Play a critical role in helping set goals and direction for the team
- Solve design problems that few others can, leveraging exceptional product thinking, interaction design, and/or craft
- Frame discussions to elicit desired feedback, while clearly and articulately representing their work in larger presentations and leadership reviews
- Make the broader design organization better by leading initiatives such as interviewing, mentorship/teaching, process improvements, onboarding, design standards
- Strengthen culture and identify areas for development within the team, and proactively drive initiatives to make the team's work stronger
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience
- BA/BS or equivalent experience required
- Exceptional product thinking, interaction design, and craft skills
- Expert understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Self-motivated problem-solving with the ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
- Hunger for innovation, fluidity with ideas, eagerness to challenge the status quo
- Strong interest in and aptitude for leveraging data to inform design and learning new technologies
Benefits
- The hiring range for this position is $179,700.00 to $241,000.00 per year
- A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package
