The Senior UI/UX Designer will lead the design of interfaces for connected hardware products across mobile, web, or embedded platforms, translating research and goals into elegant user flows and polished UI designs. This role involves championing design best practices, integrating AI features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UX/UI design of mobile, web, or embedded interfaces for connected hardware products
- Translate user research, product goals, and technical constraints into elegant user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs
- Champion design best practices across the organization while mentoring junior designers and advocating for a consistent user experience
- Integrate AI-powered features, personalization, and intelligent user experiences into product design
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align design vision with product roadmap
- Conduct or support user research, usability testing, and customer feedback sessions to inform design decisions
- Create and maintain design systems, visual guidelines, and interaction patterns that scale across products and platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in design or a related field
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products
- At least 2 years working on interfaces tied to hardware or consumer electronics
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing user-centered design, visual aesthetics, and AI-enhanced experiences
- Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma
- Experience collaborating in Agile/Scrum product development environments
