Freelance Digital Product Designer

The Freelance Digital Product UI/UX Designer will shape the digital product ecosystem vision across web and mobile applications, partnering with the Associate Creative Director and stakeholders. Responsibilities include developing data-informed wireframes, user flows, UI designs, and ensuring final pixel-perfect execution and asset preparation for IT.
Responsibilities
- Develop data-informed wireframes, user flows, UI designs, and supporting documentation and presentations
- Partner closely with Marketing Strategy, IT, and other key stakeholders to define product opportunities and contribute to overall product strategy
- Execute final pixel-perfect UI designs; package, spec, and prepare assets for IT, and collaborate to ensure deliverables meet technical requirements and documentation standards
- Support asset creation and publishing across all MSG platforms, including the Knicks, Rangers, MSG.com, Rockettes, and mobile applications
- Manage your bandwidth and project pipeline to execute UI/UX design in line with the team’s product roadmaps
- Contribute to the maintenance of design systems and libraries in collaboration with the broader Marketing and Design teams to ensure consistent visual standards across products
Requirements
- 2+ years of digital product design experience
- Previous UI/UX product design experience at consumer-focused technology companies or top-tier media, entertainment, or sports organizations
- Exceptional user interface and interaction design skills
- Exceptional design velocity, with the ability to rapidly produce multiple concepts and iterations
- Experience designing across a range of screen sizes and platforms, including fully responsive web experiences and mobile applications
